The Treaty of Versailles is dictated by England, France and the United States.
Germany is:
- to accept full responsibility for starting World War I
- to cede large swarths of territory to France: Germany would lose 10% of its land, 12.5% of its population
- forbidden to make alliances with Austria
- to make reparations of 6.6 billion pounds
- limit its army to 100,000 men\
- limit its navy to six ships
- stop conscription
- stop having armoured vehicles, submarines and aircraft
- not to have German soldiers or fortifications in the Rhineland
