It is 24 September, you receive news that Hitler has issued the Godesberg Memorandum which basically says:
- Sudetenland has to be ceded to Germany by 2pm on 28 September
- plebiscites to be held in unspecified areas under the supervision of German and Czechoslovak forces
- If Czechoslovakia does not comply, Germany would take the Sudetenland by force
On the same day, you return to England. You still have not given up hope.
