I was resigned to a life as an NCC Teacher Officer for years and years to come. But one day, a pleasant surprise arrived. The principal who sent me to NCC decided that the choir needed a male teacher. That would be me. I could hardly believe my ears. Yay!
My time as an NCC Teacher Officer lasted for about 2.5 years. While I did not particularly enjoy it, it was not too bad because my colleagues in NCC were also my friends and that made a lot of difference.
I retired from the NCC with a modest two black bars (Lieutenant). Not far me is the life of a military commander. I am a 闲云野鹤.
